Belchertown is a city in the United States, Massachusetts, in Hampshire. It covers 55.4 square miles in total, 52.7 square miles of land and 2.6 square miles is water. The community is placed on the western bank of the Quabbin Reservoir's western branch.
Franklin County borders Belchertown to the northeast, and to the south, Hampden County borders it. Interstate 90 is the nearest interstate to the town. It runs just south of the city, with exits in Ludlow and Palmer.
Tourist attractions and local Points of interest include the Belchertown State School, Broad Brook Canal, Town Beach (Lake Arcadia), Stone House Museum, the Swift River site, and the Clapp Memorial Library.
